I heard you picked up quite a rocket ship.

Bill

As for the rocketship, it sure is impressive on the street. We will have to see what it does on the track soon. Wish you would bring your RR on the 28th.

I was worried that he found something bad. Very relieved!

Well, i just talked with Billy, he says the car is a running car. The old carb was a POS that caused him many headaches. I figure its been a while since he had a problem he didn't recognize, therefore it was a good learning experience. The power steering box needs fixing or changing still. There was an interesting routing of wires, done by me, that needs to be addressed.
Bottom line is it still needs more attention, but it runs real strong! :drive :-D

If i have the car back on Saturday, a reunion it will be. I might even still have that shirt. If no car, well I'll take the blue car.

So excited to be getting my Road Runner back on the road after a 15 year holding pattern. My sleeping is going to get more difficult each night.

Hello everyone, I am Bill and after racing with some of you guys a couple weeks ago in my new Challenger I got motivated to pull up to the starting line in my old car. I'm 6 months to a year from getting the old girl back on the street/strip, but every trip starts with that first step.

wow, its been a year since i joined here and started work on the Road Runner. I feels like no time at all and forever ago at the same time.

Looks so good in photos, not so much in person. It's still way fun to drive though. I've been taking it everywhere. Billy did a great job on the tune, it's running as good as ever.

Still knocking idems off my list. Today I got the trunk latch fixed. I removed the rear arm rests, took off the rear seat back, reached in and unscrewed the factory jack and spare tire. I pushed the tire into the trunk and crawled (yeah, I'm surprised I fit too) into the trunk and popped the latch. I soaked the mech in penetrating oil while I took off the lock and reinstalled the spring/rod, put it all back together and did a little cheer.
Can't wait to race.
