I looked at inland routes and there is nothing that appears direct. The bottom line for me is $500 and 12 hours of driving just to get there and back for one day of racing does not work for me. :shrug

When I drove back I went through Philly, the first toll was the two $6.oo tolls on the garden state and whatever the tappan zee was. So $30 coming back and over $50 going down on the NJ turnpike route. So for me it's $200 in fuel $60 in tolls if the tolls are the same through Philly north and south. Two days racing always better than one. :pop

I take 95 through Philly, a straight shot to Cecil. No tolls until Maryland- $7 each way. I noticed car trailers taking the exit before the Maryland toll and arriving a little later than I did at Cecil, so there is a way to get around that toll. The Philly stretch of 95 is no picnic right now, due to the construction, especially pulling a trailer.

Wow I feel like I am getting off cheap compared to you guys. I always fuel up in NJ for Diesel so I save $.60 a gallon and the tolls are what they are. All said in done with fuel and tools around $180.00

The Cecil County Race in conjunction with the NE GS/GN club is a 2 day event. Friday Sept. 20 and Saturday Sept. 21. I am sure their would be no problem at all to have a race on friday also if that is what Ralph and you guys want. I know I am bringing my F/S car to race ( it's finally ready-Will be at the E-Town event) and would love to have 2 races. There is usually plenty of time to make as many passes as you want especially Friday so a race should be easy. There are also Armed guards at the host hotel to protect cars staying overnight. :dragster
