Got it running last month. Chased an oil leak. Now having to chase a fuel leak and fix a transmission leak. The top trans line is right up against the floor board. I think the AN fitting in the transmission is broken. All the growing pains of hand made parts and combining things from all different years. |

Long overdue update... transmission had issues, couldn't get it resolved. (Builder fell deathly ill, cancer sucks) Ended up buying a "crate" transmission, got it installed, works perfectly. Finished up the A/C last week. I went over, washed it, and rolled it out for a few pictures over the weekend.

Finally got around to working on this one again. The bed mounts needed to be moved, the wheels weren't centered. Also switched to 15" wheels with the proper offset.

Got the truck on the dyno last month. It developed a misfire, I wasn't able to resolve it that day. But, got it start and idle great. I finally figured it out yesterday, had one bad injector. New part is on the way. Still chasing a MAF issue, the built in IAT is reading ambient air temperature - but reads ZERO grams per second of airflow. Might be a ground issue in the harness, I tried three different MAF sensors, no difference. Worst case scenario, we finish the tune in SD.

It put down dismal power numbers due to it popping and farting and refusing to rev any higher than 3800 RPM.
