Just spoke w/Billy Atwood;nice guy. He's got 6-8 cars at his garage now so I need to wait 2-3 weeks. Not a problem because I don't have the $ to have work done right now. Thankyou for your replies and willingness to help. Regards,Bill

Bill, If in the end you decide to go to low compression heads, I am serious about swapping heads with you. I have a low compression 400 which uses the same head as the 440. This swap would cost you nothing.

If pinging is the only issue though, I am confident it can be eliminated without changing heads. Call me if you want to discuss this further.

Hal, thank you for your interest. I am going to wait and see what Billy Atwood finds out about my 440 and the other few issues that I discussed with him. I will keep you in mind though. Again, he is very busy so I have to wait a few weeks. Regards, Bill
