Shawn, How about racing the Hot Rod Reunion Sept 12-15? We could run the Stock index or bracket. Then a week later we could do the Chevyfest.

Shawn, I usually race at NED's Mopar day. I don't recall seeing you there the last couple of years. You planning on going this year? Even Hal raced there on Mopar day a few years ago! I don't think I'm brave enough to bring a Mopar to Chebbyfest though. Kevin |

In 2011 someone had the bright idea to have Mopar Day the same day as Lebanon Valley Dragway  both events were rained out and only LVD rescheduled. As far as going to Chebbyfest, I think they will let you in for free if you can play a Banjo or a Homonica  Hal, do you have any info on the Hot Rod Reunion?

Hal, I just found the info about the Hot Rod reunion, looks like a great event  that goes Sept. 12-14 at NED, the next weekend Sept. 20,21 is the SuperCar race & Buick Show at Cecil County MD, the same weekend as Chevyfest at New England Dragway, you could go to Cecel County for Friday & Saturday and then head up north to New Hampshire for Sundays Chevyfest show. Sorry but the SuperCar race wins out for that weekend, then the next weekend, Sept. 28 is Mopar Day at NED I will be burning some diesel that month

I had a great day at the New England Dragway Mopar day on Saturday. I raced in the Mopar Street Tire bracket class and won the class! I was running on a 13.20 dial-in, with the bias plies of course. After getting used to a Pro Tree and not having started with a Sportsman tree in quite a while, it seemed so much easier with a Sportsman Tree. On one of my time trials I red-lighted with a -.007 but in the quarterfinal round I had a .000 RT . . . that's right a perfect light . . . I'm going to frame that timeslip! That earned me bye-run in the semifinal and in the final I ran a 13.28 with a decent enough light to get me into the winners circle.  OK, I'm done gloating now! Kevin |
