If it helps any, car has 3.08 gears and BFG radial T/As. I expect to finish in 3rd gear. |

Complete short block as of yesterday morning. Need to finish some things on the C10, then assemble this thing. |

Long block is almost complete...  And I convinced him to step up to 3.31s in the rear. The 69' Chevelle I just bought has a 3.31 posi 12 bolt rear. I know I will be swapping to at least 4.10s in that car, posibly 4.56s. (I have a set on the shelf) |

Hood and front fenders needed minor rust repair. Those are done and in sealer primer. The doors were great other than some dents and filler in the passenger door. That has been taken care of and they are in primer as well. Been making room in the shop for the car, then we will get the body off of the frame. |

Got the old 2.78 one legger 10 bolt out and the 3.08 posi 12 bolt in for mock up. I fit the rear sway bar and drilled some holes Saturday. Will be pulling out the 350/th350 this week. Then the cleaning of the frame and components begins. |

Even though I didn't hang on to this car, I'm glad it went to you guys. I know it will be a nice car when it's done with you two doing the build. Plus maybe if I help out on some of the other cars I will get a chance to take it around the block....

The old man gets the first shake down drive, I got dibs on the next drive. You're welcome to see how it runs after that. All three of us have a lot of time and effort invested into this car. Engine and transmission removed today. I expect the frame to be stripped of its suspension components next week. |
