Finally got a chance to work on it again today. Just tying up some odds and ends underhood, cleaned and painted my tilt column. Also got the winch installed on my car trailer. |

Going to try a 2 day thrash on the 21st & 22nd to see if I can get this thing running and the cam broke in. My punch list is finally starting to get smaller. |

Took the day off from work to get some things done on the car. I topped off all of the fluids: engine oil, transmission gear oil, coolant. Then did some running around for a battery, gas, and misc. odds and ends. I also swapped out the Hurst handle and knob for a factory style Muncie handle and rare 71'-72' only knob.      Tomorrow: prime oil pump, stab in the distributor, install plug wires, install carburetor, and say a few prayers to the HP gods. |

     Didn't get it running, tried my best today. I am still chasing a few wires and vacuum connections. May take a stab at it after work tomorrow. Damn I am so close...

Spent some time on it earlier, won't start. I turn the key, and nothing. It is a rainy, crap day - so I gave up a little quicker than usual. Maybe tomorrow will be a better day for weather. |

It runs! Had the purple and yellow start wires on the wrong post. ::facepalm:: Also had the plug wires one position off on the cap. These happen when you get in a hurry. Sending you some good karma Bill! |
