So lets do it. It could be like a date. I like going to a National meet without having to deal with NY traffic and NED is a great close up track for spectators. Also did you see the Hotrod Reunion in September there? Someone on this forum has attended this event in KY or TN was it Atwood?

So whats the plan? Any campgrounds close by? Or at the track?

I have seen campers way down on the left side there. I will have to find out more. A couple of days there would be fun.

The Chevies were quicker in the heat all day but it's who gets there first. Johnson had at least two hole shot wins including the final.

It is stange after the fuel cars ran the first round, the stands cleared. People seem to be unaware that the Pro-stocks are much more competitive and harder to drive.

Here is a question that I should know the answer to. Isn't the Avenger all done? There were two Pontiacs in it and I think this is the last year for them. Will MOPAR make an Aero nose Challenger?

I think you can run a body 5 year after thay stop making in prostock . most nhra fan pick thing up an put them down that being sead thay do not understand how hard it is to win in prostock or stock /supper stock
It nice AJ on his game you need a grate car and do the job on the starting line to win 4 races this year so far.

Some good racing overall yesterday. It was different watching the races where they did not have one of those super towers which is a good thing. Looks like it was a success overall. I heard traffic was horrendous but they will learn that as time goes on. As for the pro-stock issue I always go Chevy except where I cross party lines for Vincent Nobile. Long Island homegrown so that means I have to route for him and he is also a full time college student. How often do you hear that? I like the whole family story that goes with him. Need some new blood in there to shake it up. I will say he has been having a rough time of it the last few years but that will change as he gets more seat time.

There were only 15 Pro-stocks entered. I remember when there used to be 25-30 cars trying to make the show. What happened to the other Johnsons, Warren and Kurt? What about Erica Enders-___. she was #4 in points and didn't make the race.

I actually wish I could have gone on Friday when more door cars race. On Sunday they only had the semi and final runs of Stock and Super-Stock. I lucked out on parking and was in the Body Shop lot across the street.
