That engine looks a bit on the Orange side of red...

Any E.T. expectations?

Et expectations? I'm of two minds, 12.000000000000000000000 would be good, but any 11. Would be great. I know I should pick up some with the heads, but give some back with intake. So who knows!?!?! Can't wait either way. :drinking :pop :hungry :gears

Good luck Rhett in your pursuit of joining the 11 second "Big Gun" club! If you don't get there right away, I'm confident that you'll be there soon knowing you. It's been great seeing you steadily going quicker year after year. You've definitely earned it by putting in the time and effort (and $) toward the cause. :aok

Well as a wise very very very very very very old person said "you work on it and it will slow down" Hal I change something in the fuel system that has uncovered/exacerbated the limits of my fuel system. I believe that with the regulator being so far from the carb. The signal is delayed so much that the cheap holly reg. can't catch up. So I remove and inspected the pump reg filter all was very clean. I have ordered a holly red pump and a carter 120 gph mechanical to work together. We will see. Should be here wed. :pop

Who's the 6x very old person. He must be Wise. Probably the big mechanical pump by itself would be enough with your type of carb.

A very young wise man (myself :nuts ) Says you can never have to much fuel delivery. Go with as many pumps as you can fit into the system. Check the COMPLETE fuel line to make sure you have no kinks.

Nine pounds on the gauge and no evidence it is sinking the floats so far so good. :pop I did try something that worked pretty we'll. I took the straight tube that I used for the carb lines and before bending them I filled them with water and froze them. The water acts like a mandrel and allowed my to make sharper bends without the tube collapsing. It's how they bend the tubes for trumpet. :pop :cheers
