
Allright here is the issue. I was speaking to my sister inlaw who wants to get my brother Mark's 68 charger RT with a 440 and factory air restored for his 40th birthday for July next year. This car has been essentially off the road for the last ten years except for me taking it to mopar nationals at etown for four years. So the goal is to take the motor and tranny out and fresehen the motor up and at the same time send it out for a paint and bodywork. In addition the interior just need some freshening up a new headliner and carpet otherwise it is good to go.
No here is the rub where my brother Brian, Mark's wife and myself is how do you get the car out of his garage without doing something so cold as to having Samantha say she had it junked or soemthing along that lines. So I am throwing out to the board what story can someone come up with to make this work without Mark having a heart attack about losing his car?
Also I should mention we will be restoring the car to stock so it will be another vehicle for the race series. So there is something in it for everybody.
