Didn't see any rules about this. First did a search for Air conditioning didn't find anything. If your car has factory air, do you need to retain it ? Can you remove everything.

If I you do an L89 or LS6 in a '70 chevelle, they did not have AC, so does the factory AC limit you to only combos that were available with AC ?

No ac unles it came with the combo you want to run, but even then you dont have to!

If you have it and dont want it or cant have it, then remove it!

Hey I removed my A/C from my H/O and got an after market A/C delete cover. Between the A/C box, compressor, brackets and condensor was a 55 lbs savings.

Thanks John, I was hoping that the AC delete cover would be OK, sure would be a heck of a lot easier with that cover.

you can get one that fits the large opening at (ground-up resterations), ss396.com . They are located in Connecticut. I used one of those also and worked out well.

Yes Tom, I was at one of them before they mover to their new place. It was awhile back maybe '04??? I love their new show room!!! :aok by the way you got some nice iron there. I think I met your friend Chris last year @ Lebanon Valley.... black cherry '70?? w/drag radials

Yes, The new showroom is awesome Been there a couple times now usually stop in when I head to hang with Chris. Yes, that's Chris with the Black Cherry '70.
