With another great year behind and everyone getting ready for the 2011 season we want to start a post that addresses a couple of items we saw this past year at our events that need attention.

*Line Locks. Lines Locks are 100% legal and encouraged for use. The issue we have with Line locks is they must be hidden and out of sight. You can mount them in your fender, frame rail but we do not want to see them on the inner fender, fire wall or in plain site.

*Drive shaft loops we want everyone racing in the SuperCar Series to run a Drive Shaft loop at 13.99 and quicker. We will be adding this to our rules for future racers to incorporate in there builds.

*Shocks and suspension items. Remember to paint your adjustable shocks to look stock and also take the time to conceal any after market suspension parts that are visible.

*Interior and exterior appearance. Remember to keep your car looking as clean and detailed as possible inside and out. We know this is not possible at all times do to track dust, but we would like everyone to be aware of the appearance of there car.

Remember, Look Stock - Go Fast

Good morning, does anyone know where a driveshaft is most likely to brake going down the track? I ask because I installed a drive shaft loop into my car...the kind that bolts up to the tranny cross member to avoid making holes into the car. After seeing it installed I asked myself...this barely touches/covers the drive shaft as it barely covered where the shaft connected to the tranny...so I don't know how much help that'll be going down the track? Sorry no pics as the motor is out of the car now.

Thanks, Juan.

The U-joints.

I believe the loop should be within 6" back from the front u-joint to prevent it from dropping down and digging in if the front joint fails. If the rear one fails it will drag underneath or slide out of the tranny. :sick

Okay makes sense. I'll have to measure how much the loop covers when I get the motor back in the car, this time I'll remember to take pics.

Thank you, Juan.
