F1scamp wrote: How about a smallblock just goes out to win the whole thing? Brian, that is very achievable in SuperCars. By the end of the 2011 season, I predict a Small Block will be in the top half of our quick eight ladder. It is very realistic to build a Killer SB Chevy, Ford, Oldsmoblie or Chrysler to contend for the Top Eliminator Title in the SuperCar ShootOut. Why? The SuperCar ShootOut has made it very advantageous to build an underdog, by eliminating stand alone traction control, having common sense and keeping the tire that has tread in the mix of controling how much horsepower you can actually throw at it. In 2010 if the trunk rule goes back to a clean trunk with no weight bars, and other junk, It will make it harder for a Big Block to run away with the whole deal. Brian, I think your being very realistic. I Look at what happend when Chris made a real, but mild effort to go after the previous record. Until Chris's Duster, there has been NO REAL all out small block build. I can't wait to see what you and your dad will do in the SuperCar ShootOut in years to come. I always wondered, if your dad's AAR was a clone, how quick would it really go? I think that if your Dad's AAR were a clone, you two would have been the car in the other lane racing Ken on October 25th holding the . I do think if I kept the Duster it would have gotten closer to the 10's with more fine tuning and tweaking. I wrung a lot out of my previous pump gas build and didn't have as much seat time with the 444. I think a 10 second small block is a reality. |

The special "999" 904 that I picked up in Ohio two Christmas's ago was placed into the trunk of the 71 6BBL Road Runner and brought to tranny expert Randy Juliani. (Today was a great day to go for a ride in a MuscleCar )

We are on hold at this point. We had a part of the "340 MILL" that was not to our standard and had to take care of the issue. This will put us behind by a month. We are planning on getting back to progress in the next two to three weeks. |

We are up a running on the 416 build. We had issues with cylinder bore that was taken care of by our machine shop. I picked up the block today. It is now in the Small Block Record Holders hands. Chris will be taking over from here. We should see some great pictures detailing the build. To get everyone upto speed on the build, Lenny called today from Ultimate Converter Concepts and will be shipping out the convertor next week. Randy Juliani "MrRandyj" is putting the finishing touches on the 999 904. The next step is to drop the Demon off with Dan at North East Restoration & Fabrication. LLC in RI to have the engine bay painted. Our original plan was to have the Demon at the Frank Marratta Auto Show next week. Our new plan is to debute the Demon on April 10, 2010 at the SuperCar ShootOut Ice Breaker Race at Raceway E-Town NJ.
