In the HP2 I run an electric fuel pressure gauge. During my runs at Quarter Aces, Daisy Circle and Cecil the HP2 maintains 12 PSI of fuel pressure throughout the complete run. I thought that was high, but I am not flooding out the carbs, the needle and seats, after many inspections, look fine.

6BBL RR runs 9PSI at all times. I put a mechanical gauge on it to check when I have a chance but have not had any change unless I forget to put fuel in it. :roll

The TX9 RR had issues when I first put the combo together. I never thought it was a fuel issue I had all the parts in place, but I was starving for fuel on my 2nd gear shift all the way through the quarter. Once I fixed the issues, the car came to life.

How about you Andrew?

I'm used to full instrumentation on a race car but when I had my speed shop I had a fitting with the copper line( oil psi from autometer) a small liquid filled gauge and hose ends /hose etc... that when guys would come in and want to buy 90+ jet I would say try this first. It would run out at the cowl and you could put it under a wiper blade with duct tape and you could see how much fuel pressure you didn't have.

The harder the car leaves the more it drained the bowls.

Also Vent extensions were a big issue.
