We have been asked by multiple racer to clarify our position of the use of drive shaft speed sensor devices including but not limited to IDL [Internal Data Logging] & ITC [Intelligent Traction Control]. We want our position to be clear on the use of these devices.
Drive shaft speed sensor devices including but not limited to IDL & ITC are not permitted for use at anytime during Qualifying or Competition at any SuperCar Races Points, Certification Run or Records events.
Drive shaft speed sensor including but not limited to IDL & ITC devices. Used during competition are not allowed in any capacity.
Speed Sensor device are defined as- A device use to monitor the drive shaft, axle, wheel, torque converter, crankshaft, ring gear, pulley’s and other areas not listed. The use of these devises to collect any forms of data or armed with power during any rounds of qualifying or competition are not allowed.
IDL, ITC & other devices must be disconnected at any time during qualifying and competition. If your vehicle is equipped with any of these devises you must bring them to the attention of a SuperCar Races rules committee member prior to competing at any SuperCar Races Points Event or Certification Run.
Note- This does not apply to Non Points New vs Old events, Non Points and Non Certification Events.
