Newbie, and hope to hit the track in '09. Was wondering what happens if your car does not pass inspection? I'm wondering if I travel somewhere to race the first time and find out i missed something/or have an item wrong. Can I at least still do some time trials or am I out of luck?

Thanks

Mr CarGuy,

If I may speak out as a newer racer in this class.
You will find open arms to greet you and your clan!!
There are two (2) tech points that are required.

The Racetrack does a safety check of your vehicle,
and Supercar Shootout has a specialist for every
manufacturer.

Regardless of being correct in every facet and bolt......
If you pass the trackside tech, the Supercar Tech
will then assist you on the fine points that are required
to compete in the class,

ie: Correct casting numbers
tire & wheel sizes per vehicle
Carburetor sizings....etc.

You will surely be racing the full spectrum that day this spring
and bring your Charger, your appetite, and any Aurora slot cars
you may wish to sell, trade....etc.

Hope to see you there, we like a big presence of Wedge's!!!

Darrell

Darrell's got it right on the nose.

Track tech inspection is the tracks deal. You have to pass that, but as long as your car is reasonably close to stock appearing you'll get to run and you'll get steered in the right direction.
