I know that casting numbers needs to be correct.I am asking about date codes,are they look at,and how close do they have to be in the model year ?Thank you FRANK.

Manifold must have correct casting number for the year. Date code does not matter. If the same exact manifold with correct casting number was used for many years you are OK. :aok
