Hal asked this question as did others at the Ice Breaker Race-

Any thoughts of numbering the cars this year based on their finish in last years points race? Then we could put our numbers on with paint for the whole year. I think that would be kind of neat to be just like the big boys.

Can everyone chime in on this?

I am for numbers, not neccesarily by points but just so it can stay and not get cleaned off all the time!

Actually points standing is good idea....then no problems over year or displacement size as a requested number

Ralph, what are you thinking....permanent numbers, or points leader is 1 and goes down from there?

or do we keep the scraper and paint handy?

i like the idea of trying to knock out a points leader for the number 1

I think it would be a lot easier to use the point standings from the previous year rather than changing numbers throughout the season. but it really doesn't matter to me, I always borrow Dr.Suess' paint marker :roll
