Not going to make it. Conflict with the family vacation.

Damn, missing another race where I could have been beating up on John. :bang
By the time we actually get to race each other again John's going to have some new exotic max effort race motor. :runaway

elephants are afraid of mice, so the rat should be real scary!

so how is that hp2, had it on the track yet?
is it "supercar legal"? :stir :stir :stir

Ready to go and 100% SuperCar Legal. This elephant ain't afraid of no Rat or Mouse :hungry. Can't wait to run the HP2 this weekend. Quarter Aces is a great track to shake down a new car. The launch pad and track are perfect. One good thing is we DON'T have a greasy, one lane, traction deprived track to deal with this weekend. Plenty of slick tire cars to pave the way to a Victory :winner . weather is looking good, preregistration looks great, magazine coverage will be at the track and the fair grounds covering the event. :winner

See all of you tomorrow AM Have a safe trip call me if you need anything.

The Picture is the Semi Finals at last years SuperCar ShootOut at Chryslers @ Carlisle, Quarter Aces Dragoway.

Semi Finals 2008 Event
The Semi Finals made for a great battle of the titans. First up, the rematch of the final round that never happened in New Jersey was now going down on the eighth mile. The second pairing pitted Big block against Chrysler's most powerful Small block.
The First Pair made it to the line. Lane choice was discussed in the pits and Ed took the right, Ralph took the left. Ed Cook and his Sinister A12 boiled the tires. Ralph did a John Force Funny Car burnout to the 300 ft mark out of the groove. They both prestaged then staged. The beams went off. Ed pulled the Sinister A12's fender to the front. Ralph launched hard. At half track Ralph caught Ed on the one two shift. Once the 70 Runner hit high gear it was over in a instant. Ralph's Runner won by only one one thousand of a second and sealed up the top honors as quickest big block of the day.

Ralph, I removed the transmission this morning and I am taking it over to the the shop. I talked to Billy Atwood this morning, he confirmed what we discussed last night. I need to have the Super Bee ready for Chrysler Carlisle. There is not a lot of time, July 10th will be here before you know it... Maureen has a trip to New Orleans to visit family, we will be hitting the road for that on July 1st returning monday. The tranny situation is definately a wrench thrown in the mix of everything else. Ill see you in approximately 2 weeks.
