What's new in 2009 for Factory Appearing MuscleCar Racing.

2008 was a great year for the SuperCar Series. With 8 events scheduled, SuperCars was the place to race in 2008. In 2009, we are going to continue our focus on being the place to race in Factory Appearing MuscleCar Drag Racing. We have another great schedule planned for the new season. SuperCars will always keep its focus laser clear on the Racers, Sponsors, Our Charity and Fans- featuring and focusing on all four of them at all times.

In 2009, SuperCars will launch a points series that will embrace all that participate in the series. Look for details of this on the website in mid to late February.

For 2009, SuperCar Races has cataloged all records and Personal Bests with detailed, correct statistics for all makes, block desiginations and everyone that has participated at our events. This can be accessed 24/7 on the website.

SuperCar Races for 2009 will introduce a Certification Program to help alleviate lengthy end of race tear downs for racers running 11.69 and quicker. SuperCars will also certify any participant, no matter what E/T above 11.70, if they choose to be certified. Get a first look at the 2009 Certification Program at the Awards Banquet January 11th.

In 2009, Carlisle Productions is hosting a three race series to be held in June and July at their great facility in Carlisle, PA. Look for details about this on the website.

To make this series grow and become even more competive, the SuperCar Advisory Board and Rules Committee have approved additional engine blocks for the series from each Marque. The new approved blocks will strengthen the series as many of the original blocks have become hard to locate and some are just obsolete. The rules committee is focused on keeping the series competive, as it has done in 2008, and will approve additional blocks on a case by case bases. When you want to have a block looked at for the series, simply PM your respected brand representive. He will let you know what he needs to bring your block up for approval. To see a list of the Blocks approved by the series, visit the Rules Page.

SuperCar Races Rules Committe:
Lane Carey- Ford
Ted Daros- General Motors
Chris Kuskowski- Chrysler

The SuperCar series is for all that enjoy Musclecars- from the fan that has one on the show field, to the enthusiast that is ready to use his Musclecar the way it was intended to be used. We hope to see you at a SuperCar event in 2009.
