Hope you're all doing well. Wanted to check in with everyone and have a conversation around racing this season. What are you guys open to as far as racing once they say we can go back?

We have some options that have become available for racing this season. We have Quarter Aces 1/8 mile available for the group during the Chryslers @ Carlisle Event, We have the Mopar Nationals available in August for a 2 day event Friday and Saturday, We have other events available based on how soon we get back to tracks being open. Want to see how the group feels about this

You set it up and I’ll be there. I know, your shocked.

B

Side note, musclepalooza I’d canceled but it looks like LVD is still planning to open May 1. So our race could still be on.

If they are open, We plan to run both Saturday and Sunday that weekend. The format will be our normal format. Quick 8's and 2 out of 3 match races. Just a note- We will not allow slick tires to run in our quick 8 formats.

All I can say is if they open you can basically take the 2020 schedule and throw it in the trash. Our goal will be to run 12 races total.

I'm up for Quarter Aces during Chrysler's at Carlisle and a maybe for the Mats. I'm also open for almost anytime at LVD. Any word on New England Dragway? In general, it looks like New Hampshire will open up businesses and events sooner than some other states in the northeast.

Good to hear. I'm waiting for LVD and NED to officially give us a open day.

I'll be talking to Carlisle and the Mopar Nats this coming week. Who else would be interested in coming to Carlisle July 11, 2020 ? It would be a Friday afternoon Race. The Nat's are in Ohio August 7 & 8, 2020. Who would be interested? The Nat's would be Friday and Saturday races. open to all makes 1955 to 1979.

Cuomo extended the pause to May 15th. So no racing till then. For me I am hoping to be there for the fall part of the supercar race card. Work has been crazy as of late clients stopped paying, the Hospital work which changes by the day and then trying to get my construction projects ready to go when the pause breaks and then the corna-idiots all over by me trying to drag this crap show out longer. Be safe everyone.

The Tri-state Governors are going to drag this out as long as they can. Once Trump stops funding there debt they will all open up.

As a stupid idea. If tracks were limited on how many people are allowed would a track rental work for supercars? I look at the NJ tracks that may be their only option when things do start up.

We are looking at Track Rentals as a possibility for SuperCars. I feel that this may be the only way to Race in NY and NJ in the near future. Those two states have been hit hard and the Governors are not looking at opening anything any time soon.

I heard the New Jersey Governor say that NJ will be closed until further notice. No re-open in sight. :nuts

Well from what I'm seeing and hearing there will be no racing until June at the earliest in NY and NJ. When it does it will have restrictions for social distancing which I have no issues with. Hoping something can get going in a safe way otherwise it is looking like the fall. Be safe everyone
