SuperCar New vs Old, Saturday June 28, 2014 LVD, NY

SuperCar New vs Old, Saturday June 28th. This will not be a points race. We will use the day to have fun runs, New vs Old match races. This is open to all that want to come out and have a fun day of racing with SuperCars. No cut off year this is a New vs Old event.

The plan for this event is 9AM tech opens. We plan on having two to three qualifiers then we will pair up for a two out of three match race. New vs Old. Winner of each match race will receive a class winner sticker from LVD. When you get to the track look for my truck and trailer with the SuperCar Banner. We will pit the complete group together.

We are running into some issues with Bill's work. He is on call that weekend and working Saturdya and with it being summer, he might not get someone to cover for him. Fingers crossed we will see what he can do but if my Crew Chief can't make it, GreenGo won't either. If that is the case I may bring the trailer queen out of retirement and run the Challenger. Stay tuned!

P.S. She's running better now than at E-town. New metering plates (jet type) and gaskets on the outboard carbs seem to have resolved the rich/rough condition. I forgot how much fun it is taking those carbs off and putting them back on. :bang

I think truck and trailer driving lessons must be in the future for you. I am sure that plenty of people would be happy to help with loading and unloading. Alternatively, you could always bring the Road Runner.

I can't make it. I will be working, so there goes the idea of driving the 69 Ford F100 up to race it. I was hoping to click off some 16 second quarter miles. Anyways have fun just sayin

due to a scheduling snafu, i wont be able to go Saturday. instead I'll be hosting Dereks graduation/birthday party. You all dont have too much fun without me!
