I just printed out the Preregistration form for the New England Hot Rod Reunion September 12-14 at NE Dragway. $100 for three days and an extra $65 for the motorhome. It looks like our cars can fit into three classes, Nostalgia Super stock for Shawn, Top Stock for 10.00 to 13.50 ETs ten individual classes 1972 or older, and Hot Rod Eliminator 8.50 to 13.99 Can't change your dial in during eliminations 1984 or older. Supercars through the mufflers with street tires would be really cool at this event.

This event features nostalgia front engine dragsters, funny cars, altereds, gassers etc. Saturday night crackle fest. should be a great time. :dragster

As always I will have sleeping accommodations for at least one and I suppose more in the trailer. Who wants to go? :beer

I'm racing Top Stock H/S or Hot Rod Eliminator with the Belair.

Shawn, I think you could run Nostalgia Super Stock C/NSS, Top Stock C/S, or Hot Rod Eliminator. Entries have to be post marked by Aug. 30.

Well it went like this. I was given the bye based on my .010 reaction time during time trials. They put me off to the side to run last. At the last minute, they pulled me out to run an other car but gave me lane choice. Another car a low 9 second big old blown Chrysler 300 who never came out during time trials was given the bye? There was some shinannigans there. In any event, I had a case of premature acceleration and fouled. Probably would not have made any difference as my opponent ran on his dial to the 1000th of a second with a .011 light.

But there is some justice. Both my guy and the big old Chrysler went out in the next round. It had the makings of a great event but two days of big time rain messed things up. Billy only got one time trial in before he got disgusted and left. I would go again. There was so much to see. I have troubles posting photos here with my old camera but I got lots of great shots.
