you dont want to deal with dover traffic, every year they , the race rigs and fans go right past my front yard. the cross over from 13 to get to the bay bridge tunnel. two times a year i feel the collective intelligence level go down. i was thinking of comming next week to watch .

i guess it depends on our finish time and nascars!

take route 1 all the way down. you can cross over to 13 south bound. as long as race is not let out it may be good. but delmar has about 4 different races that day. the n/a series, super car , there own 10.5 and so on. i would be afraid of too many oil downs myself.the only roads paved are the pits. you will have to pit in the grass. i would try getting there early if you can, or see if ralph has a reserved pit. if race goes anytime past 5 pm i would try going into maryland and up 301 north. if you leave and get stuck in race traffic you can forget it. now what you could check into is cape may/ lewis ferry. that is always a possiblity for you northern guys. see if they allow car trailers ? if you hit dover race traffic you will be stuck several hours. also the next morning headed north stinks too cause all the motor homes leave monday. i am not trying to tell people not to come, just be prepared.

ralph do you have a time you will be running. there are like five different events going on same day. delmars own race, na, super car, 422 motorsports and one more. i think it will be a long day.

It is looking very good... Weather will be perfect. I received Gift Certificates from FireWire totaling $375.00. I picked up three pairs of very cool RayBan sunglasses. Trophies look great! We will be collecting for the Delaware Chapter of the Make A Wish foundation.

My Plan is to leave CT around 10PM and getting to DE at 4 AM. If you are coming to the event and have not heard from me, please call me if you want to be part of Lunch. If I forgot to talk to you about lunch and you want to be part of lunch (Sorry) call me 860 416-1228.

This is a closed track rental that RAM N/A Shootout puts on and they invite the five different classes to take part in the day. Its very cool all the cars really compliment each other. We will be running all day long to answer your question. Can't wait .

This should be the quickest weekend to date for all that are coming. I was talking to a NAS Racer (Joe) this weekend and he looks forward to this event every year. We were talking about his car and E/Ts Joe asked me what my RR had E/T'd at the valley. He said with the air and track prep expect to go .30 tenths quicker!!!! I was floored... I am excited the car responded very well to Teds upgrades should be interesting...

For those of you worried about NASCAR traffic, trust me its no big deal, we have racers that roll right thru without any delays. Coming home it will slow at the toll booth on rt. 1 ever so slightly but thats it, rolls along pretty good. Yes its going to be a long day and Charlie has no problem running us well into the evening. But its going to be a great day of racing. We should be able to get started around noon and finish before 9:00. But I am warning you, ITS FAST!! Records will be falling.

Remember Saturday night at 8:00 we will be at Baja Amusements on rt. 50 in Ocean City Md. for a couple hours of gokarting fun, come join us. Bring your cameras, you wont want to miss this.
