Raceway Park to Discontinue Drag Racing in 2018.

We have been notified late last night that Raceway Park Englishtown NJ will be discontinuing Drag Racing going forward. We at SuperCar Races, Ralph's Rapid Transit Production would like to thank the owners and staff for there over 50 years of amazing drag racing and memories. We are saddened by the decision to discontinue drag racing. SuperCar Races had 4 events Scheduled for the 2018 Season at Raceway Park. We are looking to see if we will relocate these events to other neighboring tracks or if they will be removed from the season.

SuperCar Races is committed to its Racers and Fans and look forward to the 2018 SuperCar season. Our heart felt sympathy goes out to the Staff at Raceway Park. We thank all of them for their hard work and exceptional track prep thru out the years.

So we as a group were some of the last handful of cars to race at Englishtown. They never reopened after 11/12. and I beat Hal at our last race that night!

That is correct SuperCar Races is the last group to run at Raceway Park.

So by losing to Dominick in the third round of our best of 3 match race, my Road Runner was the last race car to ever cross the finish line at raceway Park. [img

I was thinking the same thing Bill. It’s great to have that honor but I would rather have the track open. Sad to say I have been racing their since 85 and now it is just a memory

well if the track shut down to drag racin, at least the last event was a proper way to do it

Hey, Ralph, while you're throwing around the "Thank you's", I'd like to express my gratitude to you for organizing so many great E-town events over the years.
I doubt if I would have done any racing at E-town if it hadn't been for my participation with SuperCars. It turned out to be one of my favorite tracks, and nearly always a great experience (minus the one drive home when I spun a main bearing).
I'll miss it.

Same goes for me. I considered E-town my home track. Been going there for over 40 years and it was a blast racing there for the last 9 years,
thanks to Ralph.

I'm gonna miss it.
