It's that time again. LETS GO RACING!!!!! The start of the second half of the 2014 SuperCar season will be here very soon. Get ready for a two day, two track event.

Saturday August 23, 2014 28th Annual Mopars @ E-Town Nationals Gates open at 8AM

Sunday August 24, 2014 SuperCars @ Island Dragway Gates open at 11:30AM Time trial then the best of Detroit in a heads up race, winner take all.

If you're attending both days, what are your plans for staying overnight on Sat. Aug 23rd? I haven't researched it myself yet, but I'd like to know if anyone recommends a particuar hotel or even camping somewere between E-Town and Island.

Hey Kevin, I posted some hotel suggestions in Registered Users. Check it out. There is a Comfort Inn in Hackettstown, NJ which isn't far from Island. We have found that the Comfort Inns are about the best bet.

Ralph,

Is my recollection correct that Island Dragway will let us come in Saturday night to camp out and spend the night outside of the track? I know my motorhome cannot cross the bridge into the inner pit area due to it's weight.

FYI, No track event on Friday 8/22 is scheduled so that rules out TNT.
