Ok, so you think this is about a new build! Wrong, sorta!

Ive been going to Supercarraces since day one and i have seen it grow to what it is today, but theres more!
We easily get 18-20 cars at most races, but theres so many more racers and cars that we could easily have 40+ cars at any given race if the stars where aligned!
I have not been asked by ralph or any track to post this, i just think it would be so cool and super competitive to bring a boatload of cars out to race! This is in no way a lecture, just a shout out to all that may want to be apart of an event/events that would be most impressive and attention getting! Think about double the cars! Its insane!
So call your buddies, twist their arms, spread the word and get out for some fun and racing!
Remember, you get point for bringing a new racer to the track!!!!
Missing the local community event some sat/sunday wont kill ya! Get to the track!

We can start right away, but i think the target for big numbers would be the supercar nationals this fall!
Lets make it huge! Theres plenty of time to plan!

We all need to do our part to promote this great group and our style of racing!
Remember, newbies get some slack, veterens know the rules, and if you have more than one car put your wife in it or a trustworthy buddy!

And by all means, anybody with a ford or amc , well lets say, you need to be there! Lol

Lets have at it, and make a max effort!

I agree. I'm working on a friend with a W30. I don't know any Ford people. Most of my friends are smart!!!

:drinking absolutely! :agree I'm all for it. I tell people all the time about how cool this stuff is. I'm encouraged to see long time veterans as enthusiastic as I am as a newb who's just starting a build.

Great post Ted! I am working on one friend and need to work on my Ford owning brother to get his car back together and come racing.

I couldn't agree more with you Ted, and everyone else! My appreciation for the classic cars has grown greatly since I have gotten off of the 'car show lawn chair' and behind the wheel putting the pedal to the metal. During those times that I do give in and find myself grabbing some rays while admiring other's classics, I will talk up SC as much as I can. I had a handful of fliers last year when I went to the Loctite show and I had some really good conversations with folks to entice them to join us. I'm planning on doing the same this year whenever possible!

OK guys, I'm trying.... Stopped to get an Easter ham at the butcher shop at Harkens Market on Rt 5 in E. Windsor, CT (S. Windsor line) and as it turns out, the butcher is a veteran from the CT Dragway days. He now owns a 95 Mustang but I told him he should bring it out to our Show and Go this fall. I'll bring him a flier later this year.
