I know most of you run slushboxes for consistency, but what do the guys with a a "man pedal" use for gear oil? I have yet to fill my Muncie yet, looking for advice.

I have run synthetic and non. I didn't have any problems with the syncros with the synthetic which surprises folks. I ran it that way for many years. Ed Hartnett just did my transmission this summer after roughly 6 years. It's a muncie supercase M21. The only issues were cluster gear and input bearing. Of course the expendables were replaced. That said I put non synthetic in it this time.

I found that Brad Penn sells gl-4, non synthetic. Picked up a few quarts last week.
