Dyno Max Ultra Flow and Pypes Welded Race Muffler. I prefer the Pypes Race

I think that is what I will end up using on my cars. A good friend of mine went from a 3" system dumped at the axle with flowsmashers to a 2.5 Magnaflow system with tail pipes. It picked up around .2 and quieted it down a lot. I've been a believer since then. This is on a high compression 383 SBC with a healthy shot of dope, runs bottom 10s - all steel, full interior and a baby seat.

With that said, never heard anything bad about the ultra flows or the pypes mufflers.

My car has Pypes Street Pros on it. I didnt like them at first. They were a bit to quite for me but they have grown on me. However they are fully welded and dont looks stock.

100% legal and may become the official muffler of the SuperCars series in the future. The only Pypes muffler not 100% legal is the Violator :sick . Stay away from them if you can, they are way to loud and don't work on these cars.

I run the Violators on the chevelle, they do pass the 107 db spec., but, have been told they are alittle loud :nuts . Anyway, to stay with-in the guidelines may change in the future :roll

I ran 3" 2 chambered flowmaster on my last 3 cars so I was a little shocked how quite this thing is. Of coarse its only 200hp and still has the 1-7/8" pipes off the manifolds right now so that isnt making it any louder.
