Thanks. We made it to El Paso (2000 miles) after almost six days of traveling with my wife, two kids, and two dogs in a small SUV. What an experience...oh nothing like a small snow storm in TX where it never snows to help slow you down.

I've gone to my local speed shop and found the local cruise spot. Also, the next car show in El Paso is next Sunday, 2-27-2011. If anyone is interested, I'd be hapy to post what the El Paso car scene looks like with some pictures??? There are a lot of old cars in the area that folks use for daily transportation. I don't know if it's the dry weather or what but it's neat to see. :-D

Have a good Sunday everyone, Juan.

Ralph, I'd be happy and proud to reprsent Supercars in TX. I will start to pitch the idea next Friday at my local cruise spot and see if anyone is interested in the idea. I know there are a lot of old/cool cars in TX so we'll see what shakes out :-D

Here is a picture of my Bee when it arrived on the transporter, which was Christmas Eve...so that was pretty cool. I remember flying up to inspect the Bee about 2 weeks before that. I was so nervous...I just couldn't take another disappointment, but it all worked out thank goodness.

Hello everyone, I wanted to provide a status update on my Superbee. The motor was pulled Dec 2010 before I moved to TX to help pay for the new motor. And now I'm happy to say that the new motor is done...and I should have it in the next few weeks. It came out very nice and I'm very excited. Once I get the motor, I hope to move on to the tranny and worn out rear suspension before I get it out on the track. As for the tranny...I'm doing a little research right now...but it should be something very cool, unique, and a bit different but still factory appearing.

I'll post pics very soon, Juan.

My garage was to small to pull the motor, but luckily my bestest pal let me use his garage. Here we are marking all the wires. You can't see Lance cuz he's underneath disconnecting the tranny.

We're pulling the motor with the tranny...first time doing like this, we thought we'd give it a shot since we now had a leveler.

Well the engine is out and it's time to move from VA to TX...let's see if my poor little Ford Lightning will be able to tow the Superbee. We have some sag but I think it'll hold even though it's only a 1/2 ton.

:aok You should be fine. Just give yourself some room to stop. I would look into adding a helper spring in the future. Be safe
