I purchased a pair of 28X11.5X15 ET Street tires for next year. So with a little more work, a gear change (4.56), for the strip only, I hope to be in the low/mid 12's. I just purchased another 12 bolt to make a complete rearend change, one for the strip and one for the street.

I had the car in Chicago at the MCACN Show recently. Here is a picture of my "Race" setup. The rear M&H Racemaste tires are for show only.

That a good lookin' car, nice job on the last pass. I too run a chevelle and still tryin to work out the bugs in the rear suspension. Get no- hop bars, soft springs, and have the pinion angle checked. I'm in the same boat, tryin to get my thing too hook. Did you have it on a chassis dyno,? it might no be a bad idea... keep us posted :aok

Once I installed the QA1 shocks the wheelhop was non existant. It was amazing to be honest and the best $300 I spent on the car. I also have the upper and lower rear control arms boxed in.

I had the motor on a dyno when it was first assembled. I came out around 421hp and 400tq without the correction factored in. I'm a little lost on that subject. All I know is that when they did my dyno they did not have it set correctly for the weather. :shrug The compression is around 10.4 so it's pump gas friendly.

This is a short video of my engine builder (Gary Soderberg SLR Motorsports) playing with the motor before the dyno test.

Hey Kurt,
I'm from the other side of thr GM camp. Glad to see you found us. This past year I just counted I made 95 passes with my 69 H/O and 75 of them with SuoerCar. This really is the place to be. Ralph treats everyone the same and fairly. I have been racing with Ralph for the past 6 years and started at 14.8 and now I'm been down to 12.62 @ 108 mph. Now realize I have an origianl 69 H/O 1 of 906 and I can't cut it up or make major changes. I enjoy racing with SuperCar very much and hope to meet you in the spring!!!!!!! Right now I'm in the middle of a Mopar frenzy. Need Help!!!

John

John, that's a beautiful Olds and really getting a good et out of it too. :rock

I haven't posted a lot here since I'm not really in any type of a class but everyone, including Ralph, has been extremely nice and helpful! :cheers

I'm kinda in the same boat as you since there is a estimated 1400 69 SS396 300 Deluxe Post Sedans built. Currently there is only 36 in Dan Vasic's registry.

Here is a picture of my interior.

Thanks Mike. I am pretty sure that all COPO Chevelles were hardtops.

When I attended the MCACN show in Chicago a couple weeks ago, there were 2 COPO's & 3 SS Post cars in the 12 car 1969 Chevelle lineup.
