I have been thinking about building a street/strip car for some time and over the past 18 months I have been talking to Ralph and reading the SuperCar rules and decided that I want to come out and play on October 25th.

The fresh meat comment in the subject line stems from the fact that the '68 Plymouth Sport Fury 383-4V that I am bringing on the 25th is an unrestored car that still has its factory installed 2.76 rear gear, which is great for cruising at 80 MPH (or more) but the few times I took it down the track a few years back, it was shifting into third just before the traps so its quarter mile times will not be impressive.

My plan is to put together a different '68 Sport Fury that I have for the 2010 season. Based on my poking around the forum, it looks like there are a lot of cars under construction for 2010.

I look forward to meeting those of you that I don't know already on the 25th and just wanted to use this post to sort of introduce myself.

Welcome aboard. Your '68 will be neat to see in the series. Good luck!
