Hello,

New to the forum. I've been watching the F.A.S.T. evolution for some time and Ralph's Rapid Transit sent me over the edge....

I have been "bumping" around the site for a few weeks, but am now diving in. I believe my best candidate among my modest collection is my 1969 Charger RT/SE with 440 sixpack & 727. It is stock with the 6pak being added by me. My first qurestion is whether the 6pak is legal given it was not factory produced for the Charger in '69, but was well known as a "dealer installed" application in the day.

I welcome thoughts and suggestions as I try to ready "something" for the 2009 season.

Welcome!!

Dealer installed mods are not legal. You'd have to ditch the 6 pack but all is not lost, Edelbrock makes large CFM versions of the original carter AVS that came on those cars. They are legal however your best attempt should be made to make them look stock.

Aside from the carbs what else would you have to do to get the car stock appearing?? If the car is pretty close and you want to get a "taste" of this style of racing, come to the next event and I'm sure we can accomodate you. Rest assured though, you'll be hooked.

Do you have any pictures of your car??

Thanks. I'm bummed out about the nix on the Six Pack. I'll have to mull over some of my plans - may use a different car??

Here is a recent shot of the ole RT/SE.
