+1 on this. I had a 2001 SS Camaro six speed car. Heads, cam, full bolt ons - 473RWHP/436RWTQ. It was a mop with factory 3.42s and 17" street radials. I swapped to 4.10s right before sold it, night and day difference in how much easier it was to launch.
I went from 3.31s to 3.73s in my 72', have yet to see how it reacts, but I expect similar results.
