1966 427 4 speed caprice 4 door. I think the guys name was Dave Phillips. He did a lot of racing in the Musclecar circle in the 80s 90s. He did later switch to a 396 Nova, but the Caprice was sick.

the 340s got the same setup as the hemi car,... werent the fenders even different for hemis and 340s?

Put in oil, wired ignition system, bolted on fan and tranny cooler lines. Poured a little gas down the carb, got into the drivers seat, put the key in the ignition, turned it,,, raah raah raah raah, no start. Too cold (17*!) to go tracing wires right now. Maybe this weekend.
