Tom set the air door up. I had left it where Dave set it. It's def. not stuck closed, I can get it to open when whacking the throttle hard enough not in gear. Tom tightened it up from where Dave set it. I'm hoping the fuel pressure is most of the problem with the carb. I am planning on hitting the ...

Looks like I was running 143 secondary jets. I converted my carb to run holley gas jets. Simply just ran the proper holley tap into the bowl for the primaries and cut off a pair of jets and tapped them for the holley gas jet. Problem like you know is gas jets aren't as large as you need so I simply ...

Its one of those things you need to simply get used to then it will be cake. I do not remember what jets I had but to tell the truth, I didn't fool with jets nearly as much as air door opening and spring tension. I do have my race logs I can dig up at home and tell you exactly what I had. What is th...

10.18 is honking for a stock appearing car on any tires. Brian, did you notch the detent plate on the column? I assume you have a rev man VB? Widen the Neutral/Drive gap to be 3 gear positions wide, N/D/2. This allows you to pull straight down intil 2nd until it hits a positive stop then pull toward...

I've used two Summit ones with good luck. I think they are just B&M ones with the brand removed.

Yes. A nice hiding spot for the box on mopars is under the battery tray. Hidden from view but still servicable. You will have to do a little more wiring than a regular points --> elec ignition swap but the end result will be nice and clean.

I ran plain ole Comp Engineering adjustable shocks. They are a little tricky to adjust if you have to but I just set 'em to 90/10 and left 'em.

The point weights for the critical engine requirements are designed to prevent certification with even one instance. Keep in mind you need to accumulate under 20 points to be certified. If the heads are supposed to be iron and they are alum, thats 30 points If the head casting # is not correct or on...

Looked like a great time. It was definately a nice weekend.

Sorry I didn't make it. I was tied up getting my own junk running and wasn't able to keep pushing my buddy to get his car ready. He ran out of time and just wasn't comfortable taking the car down the track.

Unfortunately wi-fi is not working at the track but from what I was told it was a great day, and a great turnout.

Tons of pics to be posted soon!

Chris didn't come out of the box and get the small block title on his first year out. He had great fun in the beginning and loved the challenge of gettting the car going faster and faster with little suttle changes and also ironing out all the bugs. (not many bugs at all) you get my point??? Actual...

Don't worry about being competitive. Just get the car on the track and go from there. Its more fun/relaxing and cheaper in the long run.
