I went through two of the Summit ones, first one leaked from the case itself not the fittings. It didn't hold pressure either. The second one worked, but leak also again not from the fittings. Customer service was great, but I have heard it is pretty common for them to leak/not work. Why not just fix ... |

The stock location for the fuel line places it on the inside of the unibody/frame rail, but protected by the 1.09" torsion bar. If it is outside the frame rail it will be in the wheel well. |

I just gutted a holley mechanical just so I did have to deal with the stamped together fuel pump thing. So much easier. Something I continue to learn over and over again. I was rushing all day today to get the car done because it was such a nice day and everytime you try to rush NOTHING goes right. ... |

When I told my wife that the pump is loud she told me there's nothing quiet about the car. I have to be able to drive the car anywhere. If I have to worry about anything other than the cost of fuel, it's not right. I'll probably get a cheap mechanical to carry in the car. |

Took it for a ride. runs fine. get back after about 25 min ride and have about 5lbs at idle now. adjust the reg to get back to b... |

Ok, Now I'm thinking of ditching the mechanical pump. I have an old one. just cut the pump arm off flush. Make a plate to go between the the housing and the block. Here's the question. Why can't I just plumb it like it was functioning. Then if then diapham fails the fuel will stay in the now blocked... |
