Dennis will be missed. I don't know how he kept such a positive, cheerful outlook at the track and as he fought his battle. He represents what courage is.

RIP Dennis at the 1/4 mile in the sky.

Rhett, if a '69 hood is the same, I know someone who will let me have one for FREE that is supposed to be in really good shape. LMK I realize you already fixed the hood that you have.

I was planning on doing the converter change myself with the help of a fellow racer since I have a lift and a transmission jack. I will get in touch with Rhett.

As for the converter bolts, Lenny recommended MOPAR Performance 7/16-20 bolts (P4529592) . Will ARP Torque Converter Bolts 240-7302 ( http://www.summitracing.com/parts/arp-240-7302/overview ) work just as well? Will the MOPAR Performance bolts eliminate the need for sanding the bolts down? If ARP b...

I think points should go to the driver. Some participants have more than one car that they want to race during the season and as for durability, unforeseen things happen. Remember, this is for fun. I know that whenever I can get my next project completed, that while it would be completely stock, I w...

You can't post that and not at least hint at the results.

Must be some kind of trick heads as they changed color after they were removed..... I'd like to suggest that you run at least a WIX or NAPA Gold or equivalent oil filter vs. the FRAM. Might want to check with some others to see if a racing oil filter would be your best bet. Hope things go well on re...

A guy that lives on the street behind me is working on one of those mid '70's Matador coupes. Not sure what year but it appears to have the factory aluminum slot wheels on it. I would think that you could find a lot of ways to loose some weight on such a build. I like different and you can't get muc...

Would love to see a '79 Chrysler 300 with the police spec 360, some Lil Red Express Trucks (if a truck exception were made). mid '70's V8 Monzas', Fire-chickens (Trans AMs) and some Cobra II's and others mixing it up. This might help bring in more participants and may help get some other participant...
