I'm probably a year or two away from that. I still think I have a few tenths to gain in my current setup. Once I think I can't gain any more it will be very difficult not to upgrade. |

I was going to ask if there was a new larger stroke crank under those shiny new pistons but now that you posted the cam card I guess I'll ask how many extra cubes are there? What's the new compression? Everything looks awesome and the exact direction I want to take my worn out engine. |

From what I have heard, Ford was trying to cut costs in the early 70's and the fan clutch was part of that cost cutting. Maybe Ford needed the money to put towards legal fees regarding exploding Pintos |

What kind of clutch fan does everyone use; thermal or non thermal? Is there any performance difference between the two? Been researching this a lot more than I probably should and everyone has an opinion but no data to back it up. Just looking to replace my fixed fan. Thanks! |

What's not to love about that? Except maybe it's weight. Racing Green with white bumble bee stripe is a great color combo. |

I had a great time Sunday even if we were cut short by October snow I have been waiting a long time to get my car to the track and it was as much fun as anticipated! Can't wait to do it again even if I have to wait till next year. |

I had a similar problem when I did head and cam swap on my car. It sounded like a metallic noise like a bad lifter or rocker. I thought I wiped my cam on break in. It ended up being an exhaust leak where the manifold meets the exhaust pipe (bad gasket seal). Just something to check. |
