Hal, thank you for your interest. I am going to wait and see what Billy Atwood finds out about my 440 and the other few issues that I discussed with him. I will keep you in mind though. Again, he is very busy so I have to wait a few weeks. Regards, Bill |

Just spoke w/Billy Atwood;nice guy. He's got 6-8 cars at his garage now so I need to wait 2-3 weeks. Not a problem because I don't have the $ to have work done right now. Thankyou for your replies and willingness to help. Regards,Bill |

Thankyou for all the replies. I used stock mopar head gaskets,and a mallory unilite distributor. I use Champion RJ12-y PLugs, gapped at .040 with a Jacobs Mileage Master ignition. I think the total advance is 28-30,but not sure. The Holley carb was rebuilt to stock 440 specs. How about low compressi... |

Help, I have a 1967 440 that has 10.25:1 compression. The heads have not been milled and the block has not been decked. I am tired of using cam2 to just drive around and I am tired of the pinging. Timing has been set at 12 deg. btc. What can I do to lower compression to 9.25. Do not have alot of $ t... |
