Looking to have the roll cage replaced in my '71 Monte. Needs to be top notch show quality 10 point cage, hidden dash bar etc. Looking for a place within 3 hours of Albany NY. |

I actually used that site last night, says 2nd week of August 1971 for build date. Not sure what it had for a battery originally. I think I have an R89 topper to hide the modern battery. Yes, you would have an R89W battery. I can make you a warranty sticker no problem. I will punch the August and 1... |

If you have a Battery Topper or a Restoration Battery like a R79W, R79, R89, R89W or 89S Side Terminal, or an R59 Top Post Battery, you don't have an original type Warranty Sticker. These are for all GM Makes and Models with the batteries listed above. I make these and will custon make yours to matc... |

Looking at an iron headed combination
990 heads or 188 heads.
I assume these are legal as well for an LS6 motor combination.

Alot of guys will use the adjustables, and set pinion angle, then run the car to check if further changes are needed! Once set, you weld and redrill uppers to the needed dimension! Andrew, correct me if i am wrong once desired pinion angle is found, it would be left alone right? Ted, that is typica... |

For rear coil spring car like my Chevelle, No-hop bars will modify the pinion angle which will need to be re-adjusted to avoid driveline vibration and to maintain the proper opposing angles for the U-joint life and minimizing friction. No problem at all.
Probably going to go with a 990 Cast Iron head rect port head. Look forward to coming out to watch an event, maybe my kid will be ready to race by then as well. Learners Permit at this point..
